How DOCTORNOW is protecting patients and staff during the Coronavirus crisis – Find out more
What to do if you have symptoms
Stay at home if you have either:
- a high temperature – you feel hot to touch on your chest or back
- a new, continuous cough – this means you’ve started coughing repeatedly
This will help to protect others in your community while you are infectious. Please do not visit your GP surgery, pharmacy or hospital.
You do not need to contact NHS 111 to tell them you’re staying at home if your symptoms are mild.
There will no longer be testing for people who are self-isolating with mild symptoms.
If you feel you need to contact your doctor you can call DOCTORnow to book a video or telephone consultation on 01494 410 888 and our team will be happy to advise you.
