Women’s Health & Wellbeing
Our Women’s Health Services aim to empower women to feel healthy and fulfilled at every stage of life.
Through our knowledge, experience and passion, we are able to address the unique medical and emotional needs of women throughout their lives. These services cover a broad range of issues from menstruation and contraception to menopause and osteoporosis.
At Doctor Now, we have nurses trained in Depo-provera contraceptive injections as well as a variety of GP’s with an interest in Women’s Health who can offer appointments for the following conditions:
- Menstrual Disorders such as painful periods, heavy periods, irregular or loss of periods, endometriosis and PCOS
- Family Planning and Contraception (Intrauterine device removal/insertion, subdermal implant removal/insertion)
- Sexual Health advice and testing
- Breast Health
- Fertility
- Pregnancy
- Postnatal Care
- Pelvic pain
- Low libido
- Urinary disorders such as incontinence, urinary tract infections and vaginal prolapse
- Women’s Health Screening including ovarian, cervical, uterine and breast cancer screening
- Osteoporosis
- Menopause
In addition to our Doctor Now GP’s, we also have Consultant Gynaecologists working out of our specialist outpatient centre The Beaconsfield Clinic. They see patients who have been referred by both Doctor Now GP’s and from external practitioners.
